Aimhigher: A National Profile
Aimhigher is a national programme that aims to widen participation in higher education by raising the aspirations and developing the abilities of young people from under-represented groups.
Aimhigher delivers a wide range of activities for students and young people from all walks of life, who have the potential to enter higher education. The programme particularly focuses on young people from disadvantaged social, cultural and economic backgrounds, in addition to learners with disabilities.
Jointly funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), the Aimhigher programme operates across 9 regional partnerships and 45 area partnerships throughout England.
Aimhigher London North
The Aimhigher London North Partnership is one of the 45 area partnerships that make up the national Aimhigher network. The Partnership has a geographical spread covering the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest.
